Clay County Health Department organizes committee to address health needs
The Clay County Health Department (CCHD) is underway with a special project that aims to improve the health of our county’s residents. IPLAN, or the Illinois Project for the Local Assessment of Needs, requires that health departments throughout the state conduct a community health assessment and develop a community health improvement plan every 5 years. The last IPLAN was completed in 2007.
